New Squadron Patch

The new Deer Valley Composite Squadron 302 patch is here.

Thanks to C/2nd Lt. Michael Dipiazza for getting the ball rolling on this project.

1st Lt. Donald Ray Fry Sr. has the patches and will sell them at cadet and senior meeting for $5 each. (Funds raised from patch sales will support Squadron 302 activities.) Your suggestions about additional items bearing the new emblem, e.g., water bottles, T-shirts, decals, etc. are encouraged.

The process of designing a patch is fairly complex. Based in medieval history, both the design of a squadron patch and its blazon (description) are governed by the Air Force Historical Research Agency and the Guide to Air Force Heraldry.
